AP Food Truck Court Permitting Paperwork Checklist

Here’s a checklist to help you with the paperwork needed for food truck permitting in Ascension Parish:

1. City of Gonzales Food Truck Permit
   – Apply and receive a permit from the City of Gonzales prior to applying for the Parish Food Truck Court Permit. These are two separate required permits to operate at the court.
   
   
2. Vehicle Registration and Insurance
   – Ensure your food truck is registered and insured with $15,000 bodily injury per person, $30,000 max and $25,000 property damage.
   
   
3. Commercial General Liability Insurance
   – Secure $1,000,000 commercial general liability coverage with Ascension Parish Government as additionally insured.
   
   
4. Background Checks and Workman’s Compensation
   – All workers must have a clear background check and must be eligible to work in public facilities and parks. Provide Worker’s Compensation required by Louisiana Law.
   
   
5. Ascension Parish Food Truck Court Application– Completed application to serve at the AP Food Truck Court.
