*********The Special Needs Registry has moved! The Ascension Parish Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness implemented a new Special Needs Registry through Everbridge, The Ascension Parish Community Alerting System. By utilizing the Ascension Parish Community Alerting System, Residents with Special Needs can not only sign up for special needs, but receive emergency alerts, weather alerts, and community alerts as well.
Visit the "sign up for Emergency Alerts today!" tab to sign up for the NEW special needs registry, and receive emergency alerts. You can also visit our Community Alerting System website directly at everbridge.apgov.us For residents without computer access, our Citizens Service Center can sign you up! Simply call: 225-450-1200 during normal business hours, and we will be happy to register you. Disclaimer: While the information submitted in the older version of the Special Needs Registry is currently on file with the Ascension Parish Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness, contact information was not automatically migrated to the Community Alerting system. You must re-register for the new Ascension Parish Community Alerting if you previously registered with our old special needs registry.
